Session 3 Reflection

Today, you continued gathering pictures and importing them into Photostory. Some of you even began organizing your story. To wrap up our session today I want you to tell me one thing you did well today and one thing you need to work on during Thursday's meeting.

Session 3 Refresher

It's been a while since we've met so we need to get back into the mindset of the club. To begin today I want you to:

• Discuss with your partner(s) the main idea of your story.
• Choose a person to type.
• You will respond to this post. In two sentences or less, I want you to tell me the main idea of your story. Remember to choose "Name/URL" from the Comment as dropdown below and write your first name only on this post.
  
• Once you have submitted your post, I want you to continue gathering images for your story until I call for your attention.

2nd Meeting

We began brainstorming ideas for our digital stories today and they sound awesome! There's dinosaurs, mythical creatures, puppies, ponies, zombies, Tony Hawk, and even 4th grade teacher Mrs. Watson! Everyone was eager to get on the computer, and now that they have their ideas I'm letting them loose to gather their images for their stories. If the club members have access to computers, then they can continue gathering images on their flash drives they received today.

Based on the storylines everyone has, I think the Oakie Bear Film Festival is going to be pretty interesting. We'll see you then.

Session 2 Reflection

You spent this week working together and brainstorming your story ideas. In today's reflection, I'd like you to tell us the main idea of your story? In a few sentences give 3-4 big details about your story.

Our First Meeting

Well we had our first meeting and after reading the reflection posts and talking to the club members they seem like like it! Today, we wrote down some people places and things that we like to help us come up with ideas for our digital story that we'll be creating. Everyone was a little chatty today, but starting next week there won't be a lot of time to talk because we'll be so busy creating wonderful stories to share at the Oakie Bear Film Festival! It's going to be exciting. Be sure to check back often for updates on our progress.
